When your child’s belly Brain goes off they need to exit the situation IMMEDIATELY.

Tike Tip Professor Belly Brain says… “When your Belly Brain talks to you, go find Mom or Dad!”

When your child’s Belly brain goes off, they need to know that they need to find you right away.

If your child ever finds themselves one-on-one with an inappropriate adult, whether its in your home, next door or at school, their Belly Brain will go off and talk to them.

They need to know that when it does, when it “talks” to them, they are to leave the situation immediately and go find you or another trusted adult. Then , they need to tell you what happened. It may be as simple as, “My Belly Brain is talking to me.” You listen calmly and respond appropriately.

Make sure you commend your child for acting on their instinct, their Belly Brain.
